About Best Bible Apps
Best Bible Apps is an independent directory of the best Bible apps for every device, every audience, and every kind of reader. Every app on this site is installed and tested hands-on; the write-ups are AI-assisted from our raw notes, screenshots, and screen recordings. The site also doubles as the marketing home of Warmpeach, a Bible chat app currently in pre-launch.
A note from the founder
I'm Sankalp Jonna. I'm based in India and I build small, focused websites at the intersection of faith and software. This site started for two reasons that turned out to be the same reason.
First, the existing "best Bible apps" lists online were almost uniformly low-quality — generic AI-generated rankings or pay-to-play recommendations from sites that had clearly never opened the apps. As someone using these apps to actually read, I couldn't find an honest, hands-on review from a real person who had spent real time inside each app.
Second, while testing all those apps, I found a gap nobody had filled: a chat-style companion that meets you where you are, blends pastoral guidance with therapeutic care, and grounds every reply in scripture. So I started building one. It's called Warmpeach, and it's the reason this directory exists in the form it does — the directory is the testing ground and the marketing surface in the same place.
About the writing
The testing is entirely hands-on. The writing is not. After using an app, we capture raw findings — typed notes, screenshots, screen recordings, voice memos — and feed those raw findings through AI to be organized into the structured review you read on the page. The judgments, scores, rankings, and "best for / skip if" calls all reflect our actual experience with the app. AI is a writing tool here, not the judge.
For the full review methodology, see how we evaluate apps.
